Hey, hi, hello! My name is Jay Friday. Yes, Friday is my actual last name. I’m a Jawn from Philly (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), poet, singer/song-writer, plus size fashion enthusiast and stylist.

Throughout the years of fading fashions, I’ve developed my own personal style. Music is in my soul, so I memorized lyrics and melodies, learning to sing before I could even read. My writing career began in elementary school. From stories, to songs, and then poetry, I’ve continued to do what I love; create art. Now I’m a self-published author.

I use my poetry to tell captivating stories, paint vivid pictures, and, most importantly, heal. Healing is a journey that many of us face alone. I use my love of music, poetry, and fashion to help others find their confidence, and even themselves. Showing others the importance of growth, and self love, has become a personal mission.
